1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PointsBall Academy (“the App”, “we”, “us”) approaches information when you use our iOS application and this promotional website. We built the App for table tennis players who want structured, AI-assisted training — not for profiling, advertising networks, or social data harvesting.

Our posture is deliberately narrow: we do not operate a social platform, users do not exchange personal data with one another through the App, and we do not maintain a traditional account database filled with names, home addresses, or contact books. What little technical data exists serves app functionality, anonymous analytics, and optional push alerts.

In short: CORE 4 LIFE LTD does not collect personal data in the conventional sense. At most, the App may rely on a device-level unique identifier for analytics and push delivery, plus the training preferences you choose to store locally in the App.

3. What we collect — and what we do not

3.1 What we do not collect

We do not ask for or store, on our own servers:

  • Your legal name, postal address, or government ID
  • Your email address or phone number inside the App (unless you voluntarily email us for support)
  • Contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or precise GPS location for tracking purposes
  • Payment card details (purchases, if any, are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store)
  • Messages or files shared between users — because the App does not provide peer-to-peer communication

3.2 What may exist on your device

To deliver personalised training, the App stores preferences you provide during onboarding and in your profile — for example skill level, training goals, available time, partner availability, and optional avatar imagery you select. This information remains oriented around your training experience and is not sold or licensed to third parties for marketing.

3.3 Technical identifiers

Like most mobile software, the App may use a pseudonymous unique identifier (such as an advertising or vendor identifier, or an app-specific ID generated for analytics and push services). This identifier is not, by itself, your name. It helps us understand aggregate usage patterns and, if you opt in, deliver push notifications. We do not use it to build a cross-app advertising profile.

4. Artificial intelligence coaching

PointsBall Academy uses artificial intelligence as a third-party service to generate daily training plans and structured feedback based on inputs you provide (such as skill level, goals, session notes, or descriptions of what you want to improve).

Important: The AI provider operates as an independent third-party service. According to our integration design, that service is not intended to collect or retain personal data about you beyond what is strictly necessary to process your immediate request and return coaching suggestions. Prompts are sent for the purpose of generating training guidance, not for building a marketing profile.

You should avoid entering sensitive personal information into free-text fields (for example medical diagnoses, financial data, or another person’s private details). Describe your table tennis practice instead.

AI outputs are advisory. They do not replace qualified human coaching, medical advice, or safety supervision. See our Terms of Use for limitations of liability regarding AI-generated content.

Provider name: The AI model is supplied by a third-party API partner configured for the App. Update this sentence on your live site if you publish the vendor name.

5. Third-party services overview

We integrate a small number of reputable third-party SDKs. Each serves a defined purpose. None of them are used to enable user-to-user data sharing, because that feature does not exist in PointsBall Academy.

6. Singular (analytics & attribution)

We use Singular, a third-party mobile measurement partner, to understand how users discover the App and how features perform in aggregate. Singular may receive technical information such as device type, operating system version, general region, install attribution data, and a pseudonymous identifier.

We do not send Singular your training journal contents, AI conversation transcripts, or profile avatar for analytics. Singular’s processing is governed by its own privacy documentation; we configure it for operational insight, not for selling personal data.

7. OneSignal (push notifications)

If you grant permission, we use OneSignal to deliver push notifications — for example reminders to train or important service announcements. OneSignal processes a device push token and a pseudonymous subscriber identifier. Without your consent at the iOS system level, push notifications are not enabled.

You may disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings. Disabling notifications does not delete your locally stored training preferences.

8. Sharing between users

PointsBall Academy does not include chat, forums, matchmaking, or file exchange between players. Users do not transfer data to each other through the App. Any information you enter is used solely to personalise your own training experience and, where applicable, to obtain AI-generated suggestions.

9. Retention and deletion

Training preferences stored on your device remain until you change them, uninstall the App, or reset app data. Analytics partners may retain pseudonymous event data according to their own retention schedules, typically in rolling aggregated form.

Deleting the App from your device removes locally stored App data subject to iOS behaviour and any iCloud backup settings you maintain separately through Apple.

10. Children

The App is intended for a general sporting audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction) in a manner that requires parental consent under children’s privacy laws. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through support channels, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we minimise collection, many requests may be satisfied simply by adjusting in-app settings or uninstalling the App.

EU/UK users: our lawful bases are typically legitimate interests (analytics, security, product improvement) and consent (push notifications). We do not rely on consent for core training features that work offline on-device where applicable.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when we add features, change providers, or respond to legal requirements. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in-app where appropriate.
